There has been much excitement at Glendavan since the last update. Buttons' female kitten has been DNA tested and confirmed as a lilac making her the first lilac aby to have been bred in Scotland.
Then in June Treacle decided to raise a two fingered paw to the laws of genetics producing 4 blue kittens from her mating to Hobo, which according to those in the know was had only a 0.4% chance of happening. All kittens are thriving and have now been weaned.
Sassy has just had her last litter, 3 usual girls from Hobo. They are just over 1 week old but have already got lovely colour developing and their eyes are just beginning to open.
Lola has almost been weaned from her single baby, a little cutie mitted kitten with a moustache! The mitted kitten means Lola is a mid high white bicolour .
Glendavan cats continue to excel on the show bench, Bella gaining her third and qualifying Grand certificate at Edinburgh and on the same day her daughter, Glendavan Fernandina gained her first Premier Certificate to make it a family affair.
The ragdolls were not to be outdone with Harvey gaining his third, and qualifying CC at what was only his third adult show, and beating some very nice girls for the BOB in the process.
